Welcome to Horizon/Far east side homeschool, co-op group!
Our Vision
We are a group of parents that love their children fiercely. I want this group to be active in meet ups at parks in the Horizon and El Paso area along with creating events/activities that can teach and engage our kids. I want to fill the park with people I know and can trust and that we can create a beautiful community of parents that all actively participate and help out!

- On city council for Horizon for 10 years!

Robin Phifer
- Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education (birth-3rd grade) (NMSU)
- Certificate of completion of Deaf Studies and ASL (EPCC)
- SPED/Pre-k teacher for a year at Kahalu'u Elementary school Oahu HI
- Previous lifeguard/Water safety instructor 5 years at Ft. Bliss and NMSU (teaching both kids and adults swim lessons and mommy and me baby swim)
Hey! It's me your girl Robin!
Loves animals: has ducks, chickens, dogs, cat, oh my! Loves being in nature, swimming and hiking with the kiddos. Would love to run a sensory station or be a group leader/monitor during co-op meet ups!

Briana Sanchez
- Gymnastics coach for over 17 years!
- Previous Gym owner
- Loves the outdoors
- Knows about natural healing (through food, exercise, natural remidies)
Out here in nature with her kids like a boss!!
Mother of six children! Finds birth to be beautiful; aspires to be a doula or midwife. Loves baking and the outdoors. Would love to run PE, math or government activities at co-op meet ups!

Gillian Andrea Reyes
Gillian is a devoted SAHM of two beautiful girls. She is:
- Friendly!
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Everything healthy!
- Animal lover (has 3 box turtles & 2 cats!)
- Hobbies include: taking pictures, creating IG reels, working out, painting, reading, and cooking.
Holding a gator like a boss!
Gillian is a certified Hatha yoga instructor! She takes initiative and is so kind and caring! During meet ups she would love to take lots of pictures and run arts and crafts activities but will help anywhere needed!

Andrea is an avid crafter and a mom to a beautiful and smart four year old:

- Volunteer for multiple non-profit organizations
- Loves reading and being challenged/completing challenges

Went to school to teach with the plan to go for a masters in sped... but loves volunteering with the many organizations now and have been debating going back to school for something like forestry management..

Adam Phifer
Spouse to Robin Phifer will be seen on occasion for heavy lifting/helping out
- Combat medic in the Army for 10+ years
- Previous soccer kicker/player, football player from 4 years old to college level
- Fixer of all things broken toys, scooters, bikes, balls, cars, hearts
Father to two boys. Will help with lifting heavy items, fixing broken things, escort on certain hikes. Possible coach for football/soccer for co-op

Member of the Week: July 10th
Gilda is a top contributor to this group! She has spearheaded this group creation and took the initative to schedule us reserved space in the Esperanza Acosta library to do our co-op meet ups for July 13th, July 20th, and July 27th. She helped plan to make the meet ups at this location to have access to a playground, indoor library space, splash pad and matched it with the free meals on wheels program for the summer!
